Düğümküme Generative Arts Presentation

Generative art refers to art that has been generated, composed, or constructed in an algorithmic manner through the use of systems. Generative art is a system oriented art practice. Artists first write rules and recipes, then set the processes to work on those elements.
In the Düğümküme presentation, we are going to show works from the past and present and discuss the basic methods. Dugumkume.org website will be the main resource for the presented work.
About Düğümküme
Düğümküme makes techno-cultural production critique. Düğümküme authors share their visions, discuss art and design techniques in the context of networked living, and they aim to form a critical ground for techno-cultural products in Turkey.
The Turkish word düğümküme is composed of two words: node ("düğüm") and cluster ("küme"). It corresponds to a rhythm in dynamic living networks. As the number of nodes and their connections increase they form clusters. As the number of clusters increase they become intense nodes connected to each other via multiple edges.
